Graduation celebrations in Wales: Bill’s launches special set menu for students and families

Graduates across Wales can celebrate their achievements in style this summer as Bill’s Restaurant & Bar unveils a dedicated graduation set menu featuring three courses, seasonal cocktails and family-friendly dining.

Thousands of students will be celebrating their university graduations across Wales over the coming weeks, and Bill’s Restaurant & Bar has launched a special graduation set menu to help mark the occasion.

Available from 11.30am during the graduation season, the limited-time menu has been created for graduates, friends and families looking to enjoy a memorable meal after the ceremony.

Guests can choose from a selection of starters, mains and desserts, with dishes including Bill’s Chicken & Sesame Dumplings, Korean Fried Cauliflower, Halloumi, and a King Prawn, Avocado & Mango Cocktail to start.

Main course options include the Bill’s Classic Burger, Chicken Schnitzel, Aubergine & Mozzarella Parmigiana and the Santorini Salad, while diners can also upgrade to an 8oz Chargrilled Rump Steak for an additional charge.

To round off the celebration, desserts include a Triple Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate & Salted Caramel Tart, Lemon Meringue Pie Sundae and Mini Cinnamon Doughnuts.

The restaurant has also introduced a range of celebratory drinks for the occasion, including Elderflower, Summer Berry and Passion Fruit Bellinis, as well as alcohol-free options such as the Crodino Spritz.

Graduation ceremonies bring thousands of visitors to Welsh cities each summer, with families travelling from across the UK and beyond to celebrate students’ achievements. Restaurants, hotels and city centre businesses typically experience one of their busiest periods of the year during graduation season.

With a Bill’s restaurant located in Cardiff, the menu is expected to appeal to graduates from Cardiff University, Cardiff Metropolitan University and the University of South Wales, as well as those visiting the Welsh capital for graduation celebrations.

As demand for tables is expected to be high during ceremony dates, graduates and their guests are encouraged to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Whether it’s a relaxed lunch after the ceremony or an evening celebration with family and friends, the new graduation menu offers another way for Wales’ Class of 2026 to toast their success.
