Bellway Wales hosts networking event to promote land team’s activity across the region

Bellway Wales held a networking event at a Cardiff city centre hotel to promote the work of its land team in delivering new sites for development across the region.

The evening gathering was hosted by the land team and other representatives from the Cardiff-based housebuilder at Parc Plaza in Greyfriars Road.

The hotel provided a relaxed atmosphere for members of the land team to meet landowners, agents and consultants face-to-face to discuss potential development opportunities in Wales, Gloucestershire and further afield.

Bellway Wales has recently acquired two parcels of land to build up to 200 homes in Lydney in the Forest of Dean and 185 homes in Hempsted, Gloucester.

Elgan Daniel, Land Director for Bellway Wales, said: “This evening event gave us the chance to talk about our work and network with industry peers.

“We have an experienced team with the expertise to guide land through the planning process, whether looking at long-term strategic developments or more immediate land opportunities.

“Our new developments in Lydney and Hempsted exemplify our approach to creating sustainable communities and improving biodiversity, both of which are important topics in our industry.

“We are keen to engage with landowners and agents across our core area of Wales, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire to discuss potential future partnerships.

“This event was well received, and we look forward to hosting similar gatherings in the coming months.”
