20/05/22 – New orchard in Bute Park as two trees planted for every tree destroyed in 2021 vandalism

One hundred trees are to be planted in Bute Park, creating a new orchard and replacing 50 trees damaged by vandals in September last year. The planting follows a community-led campaign set up in the wake of the vandalism, which caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.

19/05/22 – Travel advice for the Ed Sheeran concerts at Principality Stadium & My Chemical Romance at Sophia Gardens Cricket Ground

Ed Sheeran will be performing at Principality Stadium on May 26th, 27th and 28th and to facilitate these events, a full city centre road closure will be in place on health and safety grounds.
