CIM Takes Members Behind the Scenes at BBC Wales

Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) members were recently granted exclusive access to the vibrant heart of broadcasting in Wales – the BBC Cymru Wales headquarters

This special behind-the-scenes visit allowed attendees to experience the intense atmosphere of live broadcasts and gain insights into the meticulous production work behind some of the country’s most beloved TV shows, radio programmes and podcasts.

Commencing with a tour of the acclaimed radio and television studios, members were greeted by Derek ‘the Weatherman’ Brockway and Radio 6 Music’s Huw Stephens. A Q&A session with the leading figures of BBC Cymru Wales’s marketing and communication teams followed, leading to a productive discussion about the strategies that shape and protect Wales’s most cherished media brands.
