Kenfig Hill RFC mini and junior mules rugby section have again this year teamed up with Welsh cancer charity Prostate Cymru for the Big Walk fundraising event on Saturday 16th July.
The 8 mile junior walk, starting at the Beachcomber in Porthcawl and finishing at Kenfig Hill Rugby Social Club, will be part of the Big Walk main event. Walkers will be joined by some famous faces at the start and along the route of the walk plus there will be appearances from ‘Wesley The Walnut’ and ‘Max The Mule’ throughout the day.
The mini walk, for minis and tots, will be a set route around Kenfig Hill RFC’s playing fields (the Mules), where participants can set themselves a target to complete any number of laps.
‘Go Blue For The Boys’ is the theme for the walks so walkers are asked to try and wear something blue.
A family fun day will be held at the Mules with R&B Inflatables a new locally run inflatable company with bouncy castles, obstacle courses, wrecking ball & soft play activities.
Entertainment for the children will be led by Mark “Woolfey” Woolfe throughout the afternoon and before the Wales v South Africa game being shown in the clubhouse.
