21/10/22 – Expansion of the new kerbside recycling scheme

The new kerbside-sort recycling scheme is being expanded to a further 5,000 properties across the city, to improve the quality of the recycling collected from residents’ homes, increase the city’s recycling rate and strive towards the challenging Welsh Government recycling targets.

20/10/22 – Plans for a new link road and bridge over the Rhymney River take another step forwards

Plans for a new bridge to provide a direct link from Llanrumney to the A48 at the Pentwyn junction have taken a step forward, with permission given from Cardiff Council’s Cabinet to enter into a legal contract.
