Resurfacing works this week on Sycamore Avenue in Pyle

Bridgend County Borough Council’s 2023-24 resurfacing programme is underway with more roads across the county borough including Sycamore Avenue in Pyle set to benefit from resurfacing works this autumn.

During the works some road closures will be in place to enable works to be completed safely.

Some of the upcoming works include:

  • Lewis Place (Porthcawl) – 18 September
  • Sycamore Avenue (Pyle) – 19-20 September
  • Ty Draw Lane and Clevis Court (South Cornelly) – 21–22 September

Remedial road surfacing works have also recently taken place on the Aberkenfig bypass. The works are of no extra cost to the council and sweeps will take place over the coming weeks to remove any excess material. Signs are currently in place to advise of no road markings and a 20mph speed limit during the settling down period.

You can see a list of planned resurfacing works and road closures on the council’s website.

Please note that all works are weather dependent, and dates are subject to change.
