Howden Insurance expands accounts team as it spearheads growth in Wales

August 27, 2024 SuperEditor

HOWDEN, the global insurance intermediary group, has appointed Annabelle Cervera as account executive to its South Wales team in line with its continued growth.

Annabelle joins the Cardiff team, following her previous role as account executive at WTW where she worked for seven years. Her role at Howden will focus on building strong, positive relationships with clients, understanding their business and risk management needs, and providing tailored solutions to support them.

On her appointment, Annabelle said: “I am delighted to be joining Howden’s South Wales team. I was drawn by its emphasis on putting people first and their employee ownership model, and the enthusiasm and excitement within the South Wales team. I plan to help the already successful growth of the Cardiff and Swansea offices, support local businesses, and excel in my role to provide tailored solutions for our clients.”

Gary Stevens, Regional Managing Director, said: “I am thrilled to be welcoming Annabelle to our South Wales team. Her exceptional expertise in structuring and looking after multinational accounts will be instrumental in supporting our corporate clients across a range of industry sectors.”

Howden is a proud Principal Partner of The British & Irish Lions. The partnership sees Howden become the official front of jersey sponsor for the 2025 Men’s Lions tour to Australia and the Series title partner for the Howden Women’s Lions tour to New Zealand in 2027.  Howden was named Insurance Broker of the Decade at the prestigious British Insurance Awards 2024.
