Mowgli Street Food, has launched a new give-back initiative in Cardiff.
The local restaurant is spreading some positivity and kindness by inviting the community to come together to nominate friends, neighbours or colleagues who deserve a little lift to brighten their week.
The initiative, called Mowgli Magic, will see the Cardiff restaurant gifting experiences or treats to people across the area who are most in need of a boost. It might be a loved one who has recently had a tough time, or someone who always puts others first and deserves some extra kindness.
At a time when many people across the UK are facing challenges, this initiative aims to spread some kindness and positivity to those who need it.
Locals are encouraged to share their stories, and each week over the next month, Mowgli Cardiff will select one local nominee to receive a personalised gift – a gesture designed to bring light and happiness to someone’s week.
The nationwide initiative – which is headed up by Mowgli’s founder, Nisha Katona MBE – is about recognising the strength of the people around us, celebrating community spirit and encouraging moments of light when they’re needed most.
Miguel Delgado, General Manager at Mowgli Cardiff, said: “Enriching lives sits at the heart of Mowgli, for our guests, our teams, and the communities we serve. We believe in a style of hospitality that nourishes the soul as much as the stomach. This new initiative extends the joy, care, and purpose we cultivate within our teams and carries it forward into the neighbourhoods where Mowgli has a home.”
Cardiff residents can submit nominations via the Mowgli Magic webpage, sharing the story of someone they feel deserves this special gift, and each week for the next month, Mowgli will reach out to the deserved recipients.
